„Writing, producing and mixing all his own music, left of centre artist Black Cracker goes against the grain of cliché gangster rap to present a hip hop record with poetic immediacy and edge. Tears of a Clown is an intimate meditation on paradox. A transition from dark to light. Streams of consciousness between dreams and actuality, of obstacles overcome and those to come. He is good known at queer Berlin scene.
 
After cutting his teeth in collaboration with Cocorosie, he mastermind the rise of Bunny Rabbit earning him a coveted spot in avant-garde circles.“
