Having announced their return with details of a new album,  ‘+ -‘  (pronounced plus minus), Danish quartet Mew have witnessed feverish expectation mount on both sides of the Atlantic.

The first single from the album, ‘Satellites’ will see the accompanying video premiered on The Fader today . ‘Satellites’ taps into the band’s more accessible side whilst retaining their skewed and wonderful off -kilter  ‘dream thunderstorm pop’.  The video for ‘Satellites’ can be viewed here -

With a penchant for enigmatic album titles. Their previous outing in 2009, ‘No More Stories Are Told Today, I’m Sorry They Washed Away // No More Stories, The World is Grey, I’m Tired, Let’s Wash Away’ revelled in ambition.

 ‘+ -‘, all skewed pop sensibility coupled with an ever expansive  musical backdrop denotes the extremities  of the band’s  creative DNA  and shows once more a band treading their own unique path.

 Mew hit-the-road in March with a handful of South East Asian dates and an appearance at this year’s SxSW festival in Texas followed by a short run of European shows - including a show at London’s Roundhouse, as follows:
