Macy Gray announces new album The Way

Internationally acclaimed artist Macy Gray has today announced that her new studio album The Way will be released on October 6th, 2014 on Happy Mel Boopy Touring Co./Kobalt via Mystic Production. Macy Gray - a multi-award winning, multi-platinum selling singer, songwriter, actress and mother of three - has been overturning fan expectation and industry formula since the beginning of her musical career in 2000 with her critically acclaimed debut album On How Life Is.
 
Now, with the release The Way, the truly gifted songwriter and brilliantly unique vocalist offers us a taste of what's to come with the new single Bang Bang(also released October 6th) taken from this eagerly anticipated full-length. The Way is Macy’s eighth studio album and was written and recorded during her hugely successful 14th anniversary tour for On How Life Is.
