China’s Yangtze River mysteriously turned blood red last weekend prompting the Daily Mail to conclude that though the cause is ‘still to be determined’ it might mean the end of the world is nigh.
“According to chapter 16, verse 4 of the Bible's book of Revelations, one of the signs that Armageddon is near will be an angel pouring a bowl into the rivers, turning them into blood,” the Mail noted. “It is the last thing the residents of Chongqing would have expected to see.” (Mail: http://bit.ly/QgFKno )
Their apocalyptic assessment came as Northern Europe experienced scorching Indian summer style conditions across the continent, an equally ominous portent according to Revelations.
“A major heatwave causes the Sun to burn with intense heat and to scorch people with fire,” Revelations says in Chapter 16 verse 8 and 9, going on to highlight an equally alarming sign to watch out for soon afterwards.
“Babylon falls,” Revelations Chapter 18 declares, “This causes the merchants of the earth to weep because no one is able to buy their products anymore after Babylon falls.” (http://bit.ly/PlXJLj )
Far sighted born again soul legend Candi Staton predicted End Times in an interview with Skrufff seven years ago in which she predicted ‘this world cannot last in the state it's in for much longer’,
“The signs are everywhere,” the You Got the Love star added, “War, earthquakes, children killing children, the internet; everything is way out of proportion.”
Religious extremist Reverend Clyde H. Higgins previously prophesized last year an imminent ‘American apocalypse after the latest of several incidents in which thousands of dead birds have plummeted out of the sky.’
“Behold, the wrath of God,” Reverend Higgins declared (in a sermon delivered via Christwire.org.
“Not even the sweet tweets of a beautiful songbird can quell the mighty wrath of God! He is angry and will not stop until all sinners burn in hell where they belong!”
God is angry because men are now allowed to say “I’m gay” and then join our armies,” he added.
His words struck a chord, however, with failed End Time guru Harold Camping who early last year was adamant most would perish.
“All the stealing, and the lying, and the wickedness and the sexual perversion that is going on in society is telling us something," Reverend Camping told the Independent. "So too is the gay pride movement. It was sent by God as a sign of the end."
Camping, 89, subsequently admitted he’d been mistaken (about the dates).

For the most part, looters and people looking for food are going to have plenty of easy victims, so if you show a little willingness to use force to defend your property, you’ll likely send people on to the next house . . .’)
