Meet czech and slovak designers, musicians and great food artists on Autumn Dyzajn market!

The last weekend of September (24. – 25. 9.), the Piazzeta of the National Theatre will be taken over by design once again. The Autumn Dyzajn market will peacefully lead you to colder days hand in hand with more than 180+ amazing designers, authors and artists who will present their work publicly.
 
Relaxed and friendly atmoshphere of late summer will be supported by plentiful accompanying program. There will be a lot of plays both for adults and kids to enjoy as well as great music to listen to. Or you can use your hands and get playful during many interesting workshops lead by designers and art associations.

At 11am, the Damúza theater will take you to a fairytale forrest with its three plays. At 6:30pm you will have an unique opportunity to listen to the debut EP „Inspire“ by VOJ & 3SKA that has not even been published yet. In the meantime, DJ Advance Martin will provide all of you with great music.
In the children’s niche there will be several workshops for you to attend: Ponrepo dětem focused on making of an animation movie. The Keytone Language School has prepared a playful english lesson. And of yourse, there will be kites…“Colorful papers in service of decorative aviation can’t wait to become happy kites guarding children in their rooms or reminding happy moments at grandparent’s, aunt’s and uncle’s or a friend‘s place. Maybe a small project will become a big one, getting as far as only birds can get.“ – these are the words of Jaromír Koubek from czech eco-design stationery Papírna.

As usual, Buchty a loutky wont be missing on this year’s Dyzajn markets, as they will introduce their play Zlatá husa at 11am. At 4pm, you’ll all have the opportunity to listen to Bára Zmeková, very well known czech musician who has played and recorded with many famous artists such as Lenka Dusilová, bands such as DVA, Zrní, Mucha and Bratři Orffovi and she has performed at the biggest music festivals in Czech Republic. You can all look forward to lyrical performance with an outstanding piano background. „Meanwhile half of the audience will be ovewhelmed with emotions, the other half may laugh out loud – there’s gonna be a mix of humour, charm and poetry“ – that’s what Bára Zmeková herself says about her performance. At 5:30pm, the Teepee band from Pilsen will perform. This dreamy indie folk is created by talented musicians Míra Patočka and Téra Lavičková. After publishing their debut album, they now have tour all over the Czech Republic.
 
The children’s niche is going to be very busy at Sunday: Testováno na dětech, Vařím v ateliéru, maluju v kuchyni,  autumn creating with Schõchõ Art and art workshop Krasohledy. „I am definitely going to take my kids to Testováno na dětech workshop since we love marionettes which we’ll be able to create and paint ourselves. I’m always surprised how at every Dyzajn market, most of the kids really do become artists and I just hope that their parents teach them to love art even after the Dyzajn market ends.“ – these are the words of Markéta Štindlová, the dramaturgist of the workshops.
 
And since Dyzajn Market is not only about fun, design and joy, but it is an event for people of all kinds and age, there will also be charitable shop Cesty domů, in which whatever you buy, it will financially support the activities of an in-home hospice for seriously ill or dying people and their closest relatives and friends. This association provides these people with dignified care in the last days of their lives.
