Maxmaber Orkestar z Terstu přiveze world music na Vltavu

Maxmaber Orkestar pochází z Terstu, přístavu, kde se střední Evropa setkává se Středozemním mořem. Město je přirozeným mostem mezi východní a západní Evropou. Vokály, akordeon, saxofon, housle, kytara, bubny a kontrabas Vás vyšlou na cestu lidovými tradicemi východní Evropy a Středomoří. Klezmer, tradiční italské a jugoslávské písně, valčíky a mazurky, cikánská hudba, bosenské "sevdalinke" a tance ze Srbska i Makedonie splynou společně, ať už ve veselé, anebo melancholické náladě.
Putování přes Itálii a Evropu, ze Sicílie k Severnímu moři, ze Španělska na Balkán, dala vznik skladbám, které jes vedou zpátky domů, a které zpívají v rodném nářečí. Nechte se překvapit, užívejte si, zpívejte, cestujte ve vaší fantazií, pohybujte se a stejně nakonec budete tancovat na vlnách jejich hudby.

"We are the Maxmaber Orkestar and we come from Trieste, the Austro-Hungarian port where Central Europe meets the Mediterranean: a city which is a natural bridge between Eastern and Western Europe. Voices, accordion, sax, violin, guitar, drums and double bass will guide you on a journey through the folk traditions of Eastern Europe and the Mediterranean. Klezmer, traditional Italian and Yugoslavian songs, waltzes and mazurkas, gypsy music, Bosnian ‘sevdalinke’ and dances from Serbia and Macedonia weave together in a sound both happy and melancholic.
Our travels, wandering through Italy and Europe, from Sicily to the North Sea, from Spain to the Balkans, have given birth to original compositions, which always lead us back home, singing in the Triestine dialect.
