Haezer: doors of the international market are open

Haezer is an electro Dj and producer who plays Prague's Chapeau Rouge. Let's let him introduce himself.

How did you become Haezer?

After growing up on rock,punk and then later idm,drum ‘n bass, hip hop and breaks I found a love for electro music.  I became Haezer when I made my first track two and a half years ago.

Most important career points?

My first national tour, first international tour and first release with a remix from Cyberpunkers that definitely opened  doors for me on the international market.

Favourite food?

Like many other dj‘s, I must admit. Sushi.

How did you come to play this type of electro stuff, and what were you doing before?

I don‘t really know. It just came naturally to me.  When I first heard SebastiAn, Justice, Boys Noize, digitalism and MSTRKRFT the sound just really appealed to me.

Before I was a skaterkid listening to punk…but in general I listen to ALL genres…except RNB and country…I like alternative country though…

Where do you shop for clothes?

Mostly second hand shops and small boutique shops in long street cape town…

Any new releases coming up?

Yes.  I‘m releasing Gangsta Shit and Monkey soon and then my new E.P which is gonna be HUGE…trust me.

Ever been to Prague, and if not, how do you imagine it?

I don‘t know what to expect, but all my friends that have visited Prague say it is there most favourite place to visit…So I have big expectations!

What are you doing against the gray?

Well, when I think of grey, words like ‘grim‘, ‘depressed‘, ‘winter‘ and ‘dreary‘ come to mind…

So I guess… I just light up a smoke, open a beer and hit the studio making bangers and play it out to kids to forget everything and just have good crazy fun!
