Fantastic, sensitive, cute, and clever. FINNISH NIGHTMARES. A comics by a shy Scandinavian girl.

The Internet is fast these days. Yesterday, i saw a nice comic illustration that seemed to depict a shy person from Finland. It turned out to be from a facebook page that collected about 10 000 likes in about two days. Finnish Nighmares. You do not have to be Finnish to understand. LOOK.
Today, the page  has over 40 000 likes. And wait till BuzzFeed discovers it. Time to secure an interview with whoever draws those pics. We like to be first.
 
I have noticed a picture you drew, shared on a site, and found out the fb page where you publish these was just a few days old. but you have soo many fans how did this work? what have you done to make it so popular apart from drawing beautiful, sensitive comics?
Karoliina: I have no clue what happened that caused this to spread out. I thought I’d make some comics to amuse some of my friends and it took off from there. Without any reason or pre-planned action.
What is your background  - I respect if you want to stay anonymous, just maybe if you do any sort of arts, how old are you, and are you actually from finland?
I'm 26 year old kind of jack-of-all-trades in media industry. I've always done something with my hands and at the moment work with digital communication, digital design (website layouts, banners, etc) and graphic design. And yes I'm indeed from Finland.
Do you think your pictures can be related to by eople across the globe? are there "finnish" people in all nationalities?
Well so far it seems that these kind of problems are global for people who aren't too comfortable with social encounters. It's not just a "finnish thing" but sure, you'll most likely make an average Finn feel uncomfortable when you try to kiss him to greet him. It's just not what we do.
Have you been making these drawingd for a long time? do you alrready have plans for thing slike books and mugs and christmas presents of all sorts with the FN stories?
I literally made the first Finnish Nightmare-comic last monday. That's why I'm so confused right now.
And if people would like to buy some Matti-accessories I think I have to do something about it.
Do you think it might be a bit uncomfortable for you when you become really big sensation?
It surely takes time to get used to. I'm exactly like Matti in the comic where he hides under the table when someone compliments him. I feel like I want to be under that same table too.
Do you have other comics or pictures?
Since this comic was a random idea from monday, I don't have anything else to show at the moment.
