Autumn Weekend projects to help Czech non-profit organizations are here!

It is time to open your calendar and get your working clothes ready. Enjoy an extraordinary weekend with new and inspirational people (Czechs and foreigners living in CR), experience the life of Czech nongovernmental, non-profit organizations (NGOs) and travel to unknown and yet interesting places in the CR. See our new offer of autumn weekend expeditions to help Czech NGOs and choose the one that fits you best according to your preferences.

Do not hesitate and set off for a weekend project where you take part in a meaningful work of a particular NGO. You will help out with simple manual work in a group of 6-15 volunteers. Furthermore… „Working is something completely different if you do it with a team of enthusiastic people and if you work not because you have to, but because you want to.“ Aneta K.
 
From September to November we offer you 8 project to choose from (see the details at our website). These can bring you to various parts of the Czech Republic and to miscellaneous worlds of Czech NGOs.
 
Experience the backstage of Jičín Fairytales Festival – this year’s topic is CIRC (8.-11.9.2016) or join a great harvesting on an organic farm “Svobodný statek na soutoku” near Terezín (9. - 11.9.2016).
Would you like to participate in breaking down a campsite with TOM Dumánci (16. – 18.9.), discovering the secret of Pirkštejn castle (23.-25.9.) or working on an organic farm and social farming with AREA Viva (7.-9.10.)?
In October you can look forward to an expedition to brewery and social enterprise of Propolis organization (14. – 16.10.) or to the life of Buddhist cultural organization (14. – 16.10.). And because we enjoy community gardening, we invite you to an Information centre for youth, which is building a community garden in Karviná (4.-6.11.).

A total number of 130 volunteers, Czechs as well as foreigners, has taken part in 12 projects organized in the first half of this year. Together they worked 1190 volunteer hours. Read their stories at our website and get inspired for your own adventures.
