Ivan Jurečka se věnuje tvorbě z vinylových desek, ze kterých ručně vyřezává portréty a jiné motivy. Pracuje s vinylovými deskami i na objektech v prostoru a také vytváří sochy. Motivem k tvorbě se mu stala otázka hodnot a samotná hodnota. Věcí, lidských osudů a myšlenek... vinylu, který se jako materiál octl až na pokraji odpadu… Inspirací jsou mu události, ve kterých se nacházíme jako lidstvo, národ ale i každý z nás jako jednotlivec.

Ticho vrtačky… svobodu tvorby, nápadů a jejich realizace… ten pocit vstát o 04:00 a jít pracovat, protože chci a ne protože musím…

Co tě zaručeně potěší?  
Úsměv na tvářích lidí, kterým se má tvorba libí, připomínky těch kterým se nelíbí…

Introduce your project and event. in Katowice (Poland) (+ link) in few sentences:

We are all bored of fashion from popular brands. We look for something new, fresh and made by people we know or at least people we may meet one day. We are tired of big adds in our cities and we want to buy ecological made clothes. That is why a group of people from Katowice decided to start a new project called SILESIA BAZAAR. We want to bring the newest independent fashion and design to Katowice and made this event the biggest and most popular in our part of Poland. We believe it is worth to support independent artists and entreprenuers. Come to the nearest Silesia Bazaar and support us!

Your definition of fashion and style?
Following fashion does not mean to buy expensive clothes. If you know what to wear and how it should be made you can start searching your grandmom wardrobe, your friend apartment or web for perfect piece of clothes. It would be hard to buy only eco and hand made clothes but limiting impact on our environment while buing at least some pieces like that changes the world. Think twice before you buy something!
 
What do you like about your work?
Everything. Everyday is different. We met some many different kind of people while organizing this event (e.g. great Katerina Lukasova from Prague). We are basicly creating market for independent fashion in our town so we learn while working. The best mix for perfect job/passion.

How do you recharge your batteries?
Doing sport, travelling. No work on weekend unless we have SILESIA BAZAAR. This winter two editions. „Kids“ on the 15th of November and „Vol.3“ on 12-13th of Decemeber.

What always makes you feel good?
Lots of names on our list of exhibitors and happy faces of buyers during the fair. Also willigness of media to help us spread the news about SILESIA BAZAAR.

Your tip for what to do against the grey?
Actually none☺ Grey is very popular now...Joking...I know what you ment....My tip is: Think twice before you buy. Not always follow the lowest price. I did this mistake many times and many times I had to buy again. Do the research before you buy and take your time while doing it. Enjoy shopping!
