Terranova presents Hit The East!

Terranova, a clothing brand for young trendy people with ‘democratic’ prices, presents their new “Hit The East” project.

From February 7, Terranova will be enriched by special contributions from the worlds of art, fashion, film and the web that will showcase the cities of Sofia, Warsaw, Moscow, Belgrade and Prague as they have never been seen before. To discover these wonderful Eastern Europe cities just go to terranovastyle.com and enter the “Hit The East” section where you will learn about these places including interesting facts that will make you want to experience them first hand.

What is it that captures the attention of a blogger, stylist, designer or photographer about the city where they live or work? What events have the greatest impact? What is the most original and useful local social initiative? And where can you hear the funkiest DJ set or get the best breakfast?
Find the answers at “Hit The East!”.

Terranova has begun a search throughout the eyes of people who live in these cities who can show you what’s going on in an unconventional way. “Hit the East” is an unusual yet authentic tourist handbook enhanced by events as well as ideas (both small and large) that cater to the most varied interests.

Here you find the protagonists:
Boris and Georgi are photographers and cinematographers, both live and work in downtown Sofia and get around on foot or on a bike, like good food and good company. They can hardly be found in the posh club on the main street - you'd better take a look in some of the spots they suggest!

Isidora Krstic is a visual artist always on the run and always curious about Belgrade, seeking out hidden gems and sharing them with the world.

Born In Poland and now living in Milan, Judyta Grodzicka is a fashion specialist from a child in love with Warsaw, an amazing city of contrasts, called once Paris of the east.

Terezia Belcakova was born in Slovakia in 1986. Since her childhood her biggest hobby has been photography. She loves 50's, 60's music and 80's synth pop music, travelling, swimming, fashion, literature and burlesque.

Vita Aniskova is a russian journalist, translator and fashion design student. Now she studies fashion design in IUAV University in Venice and takes a placement in one of the most famous leather goods maisons in Italy. When Vita goes back to Moscow, she looks around with another curious and ethnographic feeling, searching for inspirations, details, moments she cannot find in Bel Paese.

There is finally a way to “read” Eastern Europe with a cool, young eye through stories and images that are updated weekly. We will review shops, boutiques, cafes, city neighbourhoods, exhibitions, artistic clusters and everything that attracts “creative” antennas. The results will be published in both English and local languages.

The sharing of this information will lead to the creation of a Terranova Community where you can learn about new places to visit and establish new friendships. The common denominator is always ‘self-made’.
Which is exactly the look that the Terranova brand offers.
