Playboy Poll’s No Sex Suspicion Issues

Dimitri from Paris album cover

A massive new study of 2,310 Americans commissioned by Playboy has discovered that ‘40 percent of adults between 18 and 24 years old have not yet had sex’ while many in relationships are plagued by mistrust and misbehaviour.

While 41 percent of men and 47 percent of women admitted suspecting a partner of cheating, one on three men and one in four men confessed to using dating sites while still in relationships, suggesting suspicions could be more than justified.

One in four (24%) of men and one in eight women (13%) who contracted an STD (sexually transmitted disease) also admitted they ‘did not inform their partner(s) after being diagnosed’, despite the fact that similar numbers (24% men, 20% women) ‘hope for the best’ when not using condoms to prevent STDs.

Details of the study appeared in the latest issue of the adult magazine just as Playboy figurehead Hugh Hefner claimed 007 author Ian Fleming essentially copied Playboy’s Bunny girls in styling James Bond’s numerous onscreen lovers.

"I know that Fleming was influenced by Playboy,” he told Contactmusic, “What are Bond girls but bunnies really?"
