Berlinische Galerie displays the collection of its owner

Neuer Berliner Kunstverein, in partnership with Berlinische Galerie and Lentos Kunstmuseum in Linz, is dedicating a show to the manifold and interdisciplinary work of gallery owner, publisher and exhibition organizer René Block. The exhibition "Ich kenne kein Weekend. The Archive and Collection of René Block." is devided into two parts. The show at Neuer Berliner Kunstverein is open until 24.01.2016, at Berlinische Galerie until 15.02.2016.
The exhibition is accompanied by the extensive publication titled "René Block. Ich kenne kein Weekend. Exhibition projects, texts and documents since 1964" (Verlag der Buchhandlung Walther König). The volume assembles texts and interviews by and with René Block, a comprehensive bibliography and a complete chronology of his exhibitions.
